You can find a nice graphical representation of freezing level and precipitation on this webpage;

Nice .... you could make the virtual radar panel really cluttered with something like that ;-)

Just showing my ignorance: why would one need the freezing level when flying VFR?
I suspect I'm not alone in using aspects of SkyDemon to supplement IFR flight.
At this time of year many of my flights are 'VMC on top' and will have parts of the flight IFR in the climb/descent.
My rationale for raising this originally was simply reflecting on the processes that I'm using when planning a flight, and when I need to go to information sources other than SkyDemon for information and what information I'm writing down additionally to the Plog's produced by Skydemon. It struck me that I'm manually transposing the freezing levels from the met office F215 ... and perhaps SkyDemon could save me the effort; and also potentially warn about flight in freezing conditions (noting that these are of course different to icing conditions).
Admittedly I'm still going to look at the F215 - I'd just not have to manually add a column to the Plog.

Yes, I would like this feature too. It is critical in winter time flying at these latitudes.
Generally supportive of more ForeFlight style weather data.

It would be possible, but this isn't something we have seen much demand for.

At this time of year one of the key things I find myself annotating to my flight plans from SkyDemon is the freezing altitude .... is there any way this could be pulled into SkyDemon automatically - perhaps with a caution if the planned flight goes above the freezing altitude?
